The very beginning of ' Black Hole 1 '

under the finished work

A series of paintings that explore the random nature of action painting, combining this technique with careful and detailed work,to produce paintings that may remind us of the wonderful images taken with the Hubble space telescope. Looking out to the farthest regions of space, we see the starfields and distant galaxies, past our own solar system, into the far distant past and this can remind us of the beautiful omniverse we all live in.

Paint is dripped and splashed onto the canvas, sometimes the paint is thrown, physically ejected from the brush in a 'random' manner.
The splashes are then manipulated and tinted and some details carefully added.
